CARE Vision clinics have been inspected by the Health Care Inspectorate. CARE Vision is also an aspiring member of Zelfstandige Klinieken Nederland (Independent Clinics Netherlands). At the end of 2004 and the beginning of 2005 our clinics in Amsterdam and Rotterdam received a visit from the Health Care Inspectorate (HCI). The HCI visited our clinic in The Hague in 2008. The HCI looks primarily at the quality of care that is offered. The HCI is a division of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport) (HWS). CARE Vision will continue to strive to provide high-quality ophthalmological care for reasonable prices. education levels

CARE Vision is closely involved with all organizations that must guarantee the education levels of doctors. For example, CARE Vision is part of workgroups such as the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO). This European organization was founded in London in 1992. It is a permanent workgroup of the Ophthalmology Subspecialty Section of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). The specific task of the workgroup is to monitor the standard of ophthalmological training programs. The national delegates of the workgroup consist of clinicians and academicians with specific ophthalmological skills and expertise. The ophthalmological associations of all the countries of the EC (plus Norway and Switzerland) each nominate two delegates. One delegate represents academic ophthalmology while the other delegate represents the practicants of ophthalmology. They are appointed to a term of four years. This term can be extended only once.
